Friday was Dad's first day of OT and PT. It was a long, but good day. He started at 9:30am and finished at 12pm. He did lots of squats, working out his legs to make them stronger. In OT, he worked on arm strength, puzzles, and balloon toss, which I was able to participate with him. All in all he had a great day. He worked hard and did amazing. He is trying so hard to be home for his birthday on Friday, and with his drive and determination, he will be. He is getting stronger and stronger each day!
After Dad was done with PT and OT, he and I had lunch. Then I broke him free because we needed WiFi, so we went across the street to the coffee shop. We had some coffee, and stole some WiFi. It was a good afternoon until it started to drizzle, so we had to close up shop and run back to his room. It was funny and we had a great time together.

My mission was to make his slippers less slippery, so I took a grip sock, cut it, and taped it around the shoe! They work great and OT loves them!
Dad's hair was a mess and needed a cut in the worst way! So, Mom decided to give him a hair cut in his room!!
Each day Dad shows me what it means to be strong mentally and physically. It's about the will and determination to get out of there and start his new life!
